  • 2-3 large oranges

  • 100g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa solids)

  • A few drops coconut oil (optional)

  • Sea salt (optional)

Prep time - 10 mins

Cook time - 5 mins

Equipment needed - knife to peel & cut the oranges, saucepan and heatproof bowl

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Peel the oranges, remove all the pith and break into segments. (If you prefer, you can cut the oranges into slices, with the peel left on, or use clementines or strawberries.)

  3. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler placed over boiling water on a low heat.

  4. If the chocolate is too thick, add a little coconut oil.

  5. Remove from the heat and leave to cool for a few minutes.

  6. Dip each orange segment halfway into the melted chocolate and place on the baking sheet.

  7. Sprinkle each chocolate covered orange segment with sea salt (optional).

  8. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes. Eat immediately, or cover with cling film and refigerate.
