Inactivity in the UK ... the good, the bad & the ugly!

Last week Kate Percy was lucky enough to attend the ukactive summit 2014 on "Solving Inactivity". Keynote speeches from James Cracknell OBE, Shadow Health Secretary Andy Burnham MP, and Professor Kevin Fenton, Director of Health & Wellbeing at Public Health England, brought home the horrendous and shocking reality of the 'inactivity' pandemic we are facing in the UK. Thought-provoking stuff ... with 63.3% of us failing to meet the recommended activity guidelines of 5 x 30 mins per week, here's an 'infographic-style' account of the situation:
